Responsibility:

1.  Responsible  for  the  product  development  for  coatings  market  segment.
2.  Work  closely  with  the  Technical  Manager  to  develop  new  products  or  modify  existing  formulations  to  meet  customer  requirements.
3.  Work  with  the  production  and  quality  departments  to  ensure  that  all  products  are  designed  for  efficient  manufacture  and  meet  quality  requirements.
4.  Work  with  the  sales  and  technical  services  department  in  the  laboratory  and  the  field  to  solve  product  performance  problems  to  achieve  business  goals,  including  sales  and  profitability  growth  and  meeting  customer’s  expectations.
5.  Exercise  good  laboratory  and  quality  systems  practices  in  the  laboratories.
6.  Implementing  processes  to  continually  reduce  product  costs,  manufacturing  cycle  times,  and  improve  the  overall  performance  of  PPG  coating  products.
7.  Work  closely  with  global  and  Asia  Pacific  laboratories  to  share  coating  information  between  all  locations.
8.  Work  with  suppliers  to  identify  new  raw  materials  and  technologies  for  local  product  development.

Requirements:

1.  A  bachelor’s  degree  or  above  in  chemical  engineering,  chemistry,  or  related  fields.
2.  A  minimum  of  one  year  experience  in  coatings  （better  in  powder  coating）,  and  familiarity  with  paint  related  raw  materials  and  paint  technologies  are  required.
3.  Competent  in  written  and  spoken  English  （CET  level  4  minimum）  and  Mandarin
4.  Good  presentation  skills.
